Lowe was the anchor for the live broadcast for two hours in the FA Cup Quarter Final broadcast on ESPN UK in March 2012. This was when the Bolton FC's Fabrice Muamba, who played as a midfielder who plays for Bolton FC, collapsed with heart failure on the field. Later in the evening, she made appearances on nearly every UK news channel. In May 2012, Lowe became the first woman in UK time to be the host of an FA Cup Final - a live stream lasting six hours from Wembley Stadium. Lowe worked as a reporter and presenter with Setanta Sports from 2007-2009, in charge of their groundbreaking coverage on the Football Conference. She co-hosted Football Matters Setanta's Premier League Studio Program.
