Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles to a middle-class family. Her childhood was filled with dreams of great heights. Her greatest roles are the spy action film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the dramatic Precious. Born into an upper middle-class family in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. A passion for film in her daughter was something that she learned from her mother she also enjoyed watching films. Paula participated in co-curricular school activities, and she particularly enjoyed drama. Paula loved acting with friends and was a part of school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the location of numerous school productions. She made the decision to train as an actor. She was enrolled in at the University of Southern California's Summer program and enjoyed tremendously. The program was the PBS three-month project to film documentary films. The first assignment was to be production assistant for television documentaries, after completing her assignment. Later, she moved on to the production of documentaries. Her work was rewarding however, she always wanted to pursue a career as an actor. She began her acting career through a tiny character in the romantic comedy film Hitch with Will Smith. In the years since, she has been on many TV and film shows.
