Amy Smart is an American former model and actress. Growing up and being raised in California USA she started her modelling career in Italy. In 1996, she made her debut as an actress in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. It was a struggle to land an appearance on Starship Troopers. In the beginning, it was difficult for Amy to transition from modeling to acting. The reason is that most models don't have the ability to act. They are typically only given small, insignificant role. Amy didn't give up, and eventually she landed bigger roles in films Varsity Blues and The 70s. Amy later stepped into lead roles in the romantic comedy Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy attained the fame she'd been seeking for over 10 years after her film called Just Friends came out. Amy worked on many of the greatest film productions, such as the Crank series starring Jason Statham as well as Shameless, where she played an enduring character.
