Amy Smart is an American former actress and model. She was born and raised in California USA she started her modeling career in Italy. Her acting career began in the year 1996, when she appeared in the TV film Her Costly Affair. After that, she was a star as a supporting character in the feature film Starship Troopers she struggled very difficult. The transition was difficult for Amy since she needed change from modeling to the acting profession. Models aren't considered great actors, so they usually get smaller, insignificant roles. Amy was never discouraged. Her first roles were in The 70s followed by Varsity Blues. She then ventured into the lead roles in the 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy attained the fame she had been searching for for more than 10 years, when her movie, Just Friends was released. She then continued to appear in several of the most famous film productions, such as the Crank series starring Jason Statham as well as Shameless, where she played a recognizable character.
