Amy Smart is an American former model and actress. Amy Smart, who was born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. In 1996 she debuted as an actor in the TV film Her Costly Affair. After a very difficult struggle, she landed a role in the 'Starship Troopers' series her role in Starship Troopers. In the beginning, it was hard for Amy to transition from modeling to acting. The reason is that most models aren't good actors. In the majority of cases, they're given insignificant and small parts. However, Amy was determined to keep going and transitioned to larger roles, beginning with the TV series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. After a few years Amy stepped into bigger roles. She starred in the 2005 love story Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. Amy gained the recognition she'd been seeking for nearly 10 years, when her movie just Friends debuted. Amy went on to star in major film projects such as the Crank Series opposite Jason Statham, and Shameless.
