
Stephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her debut role was in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. The actress went on to play in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015), Going Under (2016) and Annabelle: Creation (2017). Sigman was seen in Narcos (2015) as in S.W.A.T.(2017) in the first and second seasons, respectively. Sigman was born to a Mexican mother and an American dad, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. Through her father Sigman, she's a U.S. citizen. [2][3][4] She is a U.S. citizen by virtue of her father. His brother was a professional baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman married actress Barbara Mori Sigman. Before making her film debut at Rio de Oro, she began her career as Mexican TV actor. She played the role of Laura Guerrero, the lead in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. [6] The film was nominated for the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8The film, however, did not make the cut. In recognition of her performance in the film, Sigman was nominated in 2011 for the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award.
