Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiKy-mani is a rising star with his third and untitled album. Ky-mani is the son of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) as well as Anita Belnavis (the Jamaican table tennis champion). The singer was born on 26 February 1976 in Falmouth. Ky-mani refers to an East African term meaning adventurous traveler, and as a man living in the spirit of his name Every album or journey, is an adventure. The Journey was his first album of music. His wide-ranging perspective allowed Ky-Mani to seek out his own niche, and to explore his diverse talents. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Kymani's "traditional" reggae release. The album brought out Kymani's maturity. Many More Roads, as along with The Journey The Journey, received a warm reception around the world and established Ky-Mani's position as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani's sound is a mixture of reggae roots, layered by hip-hop R&B in addition to contemporary jazz.
